1. About Bakester

Bakester is an online marketplace that connects:

  • Buyers who wish to purchase bakery items and food-related products

  • Sellers who offer bakery and food products, including wholesale items

Bakester acts as a platform and does not manufacture or directly sell food items unless explicitly stated.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Bakester.

  • By using the app, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. User Accounts

a) Buyer Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

  • All activities under your account are your responsibility.

b) Seller Accounts

  • Sellers must provide accurate business and identity details.

  • Sellers are responsible for complying with local food safety, tax, and business laws.

  • Bakester reserves the right to suspend or remove seller accounts for violations.

4. Orders and Payments

  • All prices are displayed by sellers.

  • Payments are processed securely via third-party payment gateways.

  • Bakester may charge a platform commission on transactions.

  • Order confirmation does not guarantee fulfillment; sellers are responsible for availability and delivery.

5. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers agree to:

  • Provide accurate product descriptions and pricing

  • Ensure food quality, safety, and compliance with regulations

  • Fulfill orders in a timely manner

  • Handle disputes related to product quality or delivery

Bakester is not responsible for the quality or legality of seller products.

6. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

  • Cancellation and refund policies may vary by seller.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed through the original payment method.

  • Bakester reserves the right to intervene in disputes but is not obligated to issue refunds.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users must NOT:

  • Post false or misleading information

  • Attempt to bypass payments or platform fees

  • Upload harmful, illegal, or abusive content

  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes

  • Interfere with app security or operations

Violation may result in account suspension or termination.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All app content, logos, designs, and trademarks belong to Bakester.

  • Users may not copy, modify, or distribute content without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Bakester is provided “as is”.

  • We are not responsible for:

    • Delivery delays

    • Business losses
